Trendsend Review: Spring

I’m always game for any service that makes shopping in the midst of busy mom life easier. Evereve Trendsend is a box subscription service where a stylist from their storefront, Evereve sends full outfits based on your style profile for you to try on in the comfort of your home. It’s basically a mom’s dream! If you’re not already familiar with how Trendsend works, click here to learn more about the program.

Under So what did I get in my Trendsend box for spring?

Free People Adella Bralette; Spiritual Gangster Shine Light Tee; Sundry Solis Skirt

Note from My Stylist:This intentionally distressed Shine Light Tee can be paired with each of the skirts sent (front tuck, untucked, knotted to the side – you decide!), or with a fabulous pair of distressed denim and plaid topper or jacket of your choosing. Finish your look with a fun pair of casual sneakers or when the time comes… sandals!”

Verdict: Split. I ended up keeping the olive Sundry Solis Skirt but returned the Spiritual Gangster Shine Light Tee. This tee is actually totally my vibe and style but something about the all over print didn’t click with me so for $48 I decided I didn’t love it enough to keep it.

Free People Adella Bralette; Lush Twist Top; Kut from the Kloth Hannah Skirt

Note from My Stylist:The Twist Front Top provides an effortless day to night look – simply change your shoes – casual flats (metallic or animal print would be glorious) for the day; bold heels (perhaps with a fun pop of color or print) for the evening! This can be topped by a jacket of your choosing should you need an extra layer – I personally think a light denim would be spot-on. Pair the top with the Hannah Kut from the Kloth skirt and wear the Free People Adella Bralette under the top.”

Verdict: Return. I actually really loved how flowy this twist front top is on but even with a bralette or cami underneath it’s really, really sheer and I just wasn’t comfortable with the amount of see-through out and about. The denim skirt fit like a glove but it’s definitely weekend wear and I just can’t see myself wearing a more fitted skirt casually on the weekends.

Free People Adella Bralette; Allison Joy Ginny Diamond Wrap Cami; Kut from the Kloth Hannah Skirt

Note from My Stylist:Spring and summer are just around the corner. This Ginny Diamond Wrap Cami is the perfect top to welcome those glorious temperature surges. The wrap and tie detail of this cami is figure flattering and adds visual interest to the diamond print. The Free People Adella Bralette can be worn underneath for additional visual interest/coverage. Pair the top with the Hannah Skirt from Kut from the Kloth and you have a winning look that is effortless an don-point! For now, you can top the look with a jacket and finish it with a pair of cute flats/slides.”

Verdict: Return. The wrap top was overall too big and just felt more fall than spring and I felt like it washed me out. I loved how my stylist gave me options on layering and how to wear the piece though.

Every time I get a Trendsend box, I always have a little bit of non-buyers remorse. The stylist notes are always so personalized and the outfits always feel so well styled and pulled together, I wish I could keep everything. Time and attention to details is a hallmark of Evereve and their Trendsend box subscription service. I’m trying hard to stick to my budget though and I only kept the pieces I loved.
