If you’re new to Trendsend, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about! Evereve Trendsend box works a lot like Stitch Fix in that you complete a style profile and schedule your box to ship. Unlike Stitch Fix, however, there is no styling fee and you can schedule as many or as few as you want. While Stitch Fix sends you 5 items and offers a discount if you purchase all 5, Trendsend sends you 6-10 items to create 3 full outfits and does not offer a discount for purchasing all or multiple items. Trendsend also sends along a nice personalized letter describing each item in detail and fills their boxes with inspiring, mom positive … those custom, feel good touches are definite wins in my book!
So what did my stylist send in my Pre-Fall Transition Trendsend Box by Evereve? Unfortunately, I had a harried mom moment and accidentally deleted the outfit photos off my phone, so I had to pull the stock photos from Evereve but I’ve tried to include my notes on fit! Comment with questions on each item if you’re curious!
Your casual weekend wear has never been easier with this trendy look! Levi’s just released this pair of distressed skinnys that have a high rise that’s right on trend for the season. They’ll keep everything tucked in and are the perfect casual bottom for you. Velvet is another must have trend and the Allison Joy tank is a comfortable way to rock the trend in the Georgia heat. When you’re heading to lunch with the girls and running errands, pop on the lovely floral bomber and you’re sure to turn heads!
Levi’s 721 High Rise Skinny, $89.50
Allison Joy Cori Velvet Tank, $38.00
When I first read the stylist’s note, I was convinced I wouldn’t even try these jeans on. I hate all things high-waisted and any pants that touches my stomach are a no! I also haven’t decided how I feel about the whole crushed velvet trend for fall. I wore way to much cheap crushed velvet in the 90s perhaps! I decided to follow my own advice and just “try it on” because you never know. I actually LOVED the jeans – they hug in all the right places and to my surprise high waisted” didn’t mean “mom jeans” in this case. They were super flattering on and really comfortable. The tank also wasn’t so bad on and would be an easy way to rock the trend this season. Unfortunately the bomber jacket was too big so I decided to try to show some restraint and send the outfit back. Verdict: Outfit #1 is a winner!
From a busy day at the office to date night with your man, this look is perfect! The Suede Skirt is an easy way to amp up your work attire and is another trend item for fall. Add a feminine touch with the Lace SS Top and complete the look with the Floral Print Neckerchief. The accessory is a new trend that you can tie around your neck and wrist. It doubles as a fun accessory for your handbags when tied around the handle too.
Peyton Jensen Suede Skirt , $58.00
Skies Are Blue Lace SS Top, $58.00
I was excited to try the suede skirt and instantly loved the cream lace short sleeve top. I feel like short sleeves that you can wear during the awkward time between summer and late fall in the south is always a missing link for me. I was skeptical about the neckerchief but I’ve seen this trend over and over on other bloggers so thought this might be a chance to try it out. The suede skirt fit like a glove and the lace top was everything I hoped it would be! I’m still not 100% sold on the whole neckerchief trend but this orange print floral one looks easy to mix into my existing wardrobe and already looks great tied to my work tote as a plan B. I sent back the suede skirt only because I was trying to be better on budget this month but kept the versatile lace top and the trendy neckerchief. Verdict: Outfit #2 is a winner!
The Moon River dress will look stunning on your hourglass figure! This piece will take you from work to brunch and date nights! The Danica Moto jacket doubles as a work blazer and will be a great staple layer for cooler evenings.
Moon River Striped Wrap Dress, $88.00
Level 99 Danica Moto Jacket, $138.00
As much as I wanted to love this, my first thought was that I wasn’t 100% sure “I’m a moto jacket kind of girl!” I also wasn’t too keen on the $138 price tag but I tried both on anyway just to be sure. The dress was really cute but the cut and fit was all wrong for me. I could barely get the top snapped on the dress and the moto jacket was too big all over and not really my style. It was fun to try on something out of my comfort zone though! Verdict: Outfit #3 is a no go!
