This month Teachers everywhere are preparing for Back to School. Some are heading back to the classroom to teach students in person or in classrooms for hybrid learning. Others are preparing to resume the school year virtually again. Whatever your back to school looks like, comfort and professional are key to any teacher wardrobe. Below are a few of our favorite teacher outfits to start the new school year off right!
#OOTD 1: Head of the Class
Leopard is my favorite neutral and this pleated leopard skirt is no exception. The below-the-knee length and looser fit of this pleated skirt makes it a great choice for teachers! Pair with a basic tee or tank then layer with a favorite jacket. These Circus by Sam Edelman Canyon sandals in almond patent are a great, budget-friendly alternative for more expensive designer versions.
#OOTD 2: Zoom-Ready
Stitch Fix is a go to for me to quickly update my wardrobe and to help push me outside me comfort zone a bit. I often end up picking things from my fix that I probably wouldn’t have initially grabbed off a rack in the store. I love the ease of clothing being shipped straight to my house and already customized to my style and sizing. This yellow striped top from 41 Hawthorne is a staple in my wardrobe. It easily goes from teacher outfit to weekend just by changing from jeans to a pair of white shorts.
#OOTD 3: Spirit Fridays
Fridays are Spirit Days at my school. It’s a great chance for students and teachers to dress in school colors and sport their school pride. Colored denim and Madewell Whisper Tees come in a variety of colors and styles, making them easy to mix and match to get your perfect school spirit combo!
MargaretM makes some of our favorite pants ever and now they are making face masks! I wore this face mask for 10 hours the first day of school and it was suprisingly easy to breathe in and the adjustable straps helped with fit. They sell out fast but I spoke with their customer service team and they are adding new designs each week!
