#OOTD: Cross Country Casual

Outfit of the Day

Dressing for a cross-country plane ride from ATL -> LAX requires some thought. My first priority is always comfort because after all, it’s a five hour ride squished into a small seat with almost no leg room for a 5′ 11″ mamanista. And my second priority is ease – since you practically have to undress at the security checkpoint these days, I look for pieces that I can easily slip on  and off, like these fabulous shoes from my happy place, Target. Then third priority is style. So for this trip, I paired my favorite long and loose Joe Fresh tee shirt (which is sadly no longer available and I’m still trying to find a suitable replacement for this gem of a shirt) over an ancient pair of white Ann Taylor Loft jeans, then accessorized with easy-to-slip-on-and-off Target gladiator sandals. I like to layer when travelling, so I also included a large patterned scarf from ShopTMM.com that can double as a blanket or a pillow and a Kendra Scott necklace.

What are your tips for travelling in style and comfort?

This is such a chic yet comfortable outfit, Aimee! I’m looking for white pants right now… are those Ann Taylor ones thick enough to hide panty lines? 😀
