I will be the first to admit that one of the most spectacular things about being the lead in a reality show is wardrobe! My stylist was incredible and chose clothing that reflected my style so perfectly. I’m one lucky girl because I LOVED my clothes throughout the entire season, and I’ll be giving you a fashion rundown as the season rolls on. Even better, everything I wore in the show is actually very affordable, so get ready to shop!
OOTD #1: Move In Day
Day 1 was move-in day and I wore one of my signature looks, a casual dress with a jean jacket. I love wearing dresses because they are so easy and make you look instantly pulled together. I also love layering, and a great denim jacket works with so many different looks and makes a great signature piece in your wardrobe. I like to have both a light denim and dark denim jacket in my closet. The one I’m wearing here is from Banana Republic and my classic and flirty navy blue dress is by Rebecca Taylor or similar style here from Amazon for under $35. These cork heeled strappy sandals by Schutz were a favorite of mine on the show and I wore them with both casual and formal looks. I love a shoe that can go from day to night or transform a look!
OOTD #2: Opening Cocktail Reception
As you might imagine, selecting a dress to wear for the opening cocktail reception where I met the men for the first time was a BIG decision. There is something about this pink dress that is both sexy and sweet and I fell in love with it instantly and knew it was the perfect choice to make the best first impression. Pink can be tough to wear, but when you find the perfect shade and combine it with the perfect fit, you have a winning combination that will get you noticed every single time. This perfect pink party dress is by Black Halo, and I wore it with fabulous nude patent leather platform heels from Steve Madden.
OOTD #3: Welcome BBQ
If there is one color that wows and grabs attention, it’s red. Don’t be afraid to wear red because it actually looks great on everyone. While I myself have a tendency to gravitate to neutrals and blues, I always have a little extra pep in my step when I wear red. This backyard BBQ was my first “date” with the men, so you better believe I wanted to grab their attention, which is why I chose this cute floral red dress from J Crew. This dress is currently available only in fuscia but you can find similar red floral dresses through Amazon and Old Navy. With dresses, know what length and cut suits you best. For me, a dress that hits a few inches above the knee with a bit of flare works best. I also love adding a belt to help define the waist. I finished this look with these fabulous — black wedge sandals by Steve Madden.
OOTD #4: Elimination Night
While eliminations were my least favorite part of the show experience, when it came to fashion, they were my absolute favorite! I LOVE getting all glammed up, and this was my opportunity to do so. When I showed up at the first elimination wearing this sophisticated and body conscious dress by House of CB and strappy black heels, the men were stunned. Up until that point, they had only seen me as “the girl next door,” and I loved showing off this side of my personality and catching them all by (good) surprise. To this day, the men still talk about this dress! Lol. This dress works because while it is VERY form fitting with a deep plunge, it also has a lot of coverage. Notice the longer length and long sleeves and how they balance the plunging neckline and body conscious silhouette. Pro Tip: pick one asset to highlight when selecting formal wear. You can find a designer dupe version of this dress on Amazon for under $60.
To add the finishing touch to most of my looks, I had a signature set of jewelry I wore throughout the season. This is something I also do in real life. I love simple jewelry that I can wear with different looks and that become synonymous with me. Delicate chains when it comes to necklaces and hoops or diamond studs when it comes to earrings are my preferred choices. In the show, I wore this — gold heart bracelet in a set of two, this — pretty double strand heart necklace, and these — simple gold hoops. Creating your own signature set of jewelry is not only fun, but simplifies your daily wardrobe routine saving precious time in the morning.
