Recently, while out to dinner, my toddler was over it and acting a fool. Unable and unwilling to keep her seated any longer, I let her run wild while I waited for the check. Yes, I know I was *that* mom, and I am not apologizing about it either. Because it was due to my crazy toddler – and lowered inhibitions from two glasses of Prosecco – that I was able to strike up a conversation with Kie about her refreshing, bright-colored pants.
Kie is a quality analyst by day and mommy to six-year-old Elijah all day, every day. She is also preparing to launch a children’s fashion blog with her sister, so be sure to check out Gray Skye on Instagram (@grayskye_) for “affordable bite-sized style” inspiration. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
Kie’s style is sophisticated and chic, but she likes to keep it fun and fresh by mixing in colorful prints. She’s a pro at combining designer pieces with budget finds for a complete look, like she did in her #OOTD below. When I asked about her style inspiration, she said that her best looks just come together naturally by pulling pieces she loves and combining them in unexpected ways.
Here’s how you can re-create the look.
Printed Dolman Sleeve Top: BCBG (or try a kimono like this one)
Neutral Layering Tank: Wal-Mart
Colored Pants: Old Navy
Heeled Sandals: Sam Edelman
