Our weekly round-up of Mamanista musts: the things you’re going to want to see, read, buy and more.

1. Must-Grow

Last 90 DaysFor those who know me well, it’s no secret that I’m always trying to be a better version of myself today than I was yesterday. You already know the huge girl crush I have on Rachel Hollis and her inspiring podcast, her blog, her book Girl Wash Your Face, and endless other talents this girl has! Seriously, I want to be her when I grow up! My current obsession is her Last 90 Days Challenge. In short, the goal is to adopt 5 habits daily that help you live your best life and set you up in the last 90 days of 2018 for an even better 2019. 2. Must-Wear

Gold Shoes. When planning for our trip up to Notre Dame for the Notre Dame-Stanford game last weekend, I realized my go to gold flip flops weren’t going to cut it with predicted game time temps in the upper 40s! I embarked on a search for gold slip on sneakers to wear. My search was harder than I thought but I settled on a few favorites and ended up buying two, A New Day Gold Penny Loafers from Target and 206 Collective Gold Slip On Sneakers from Amazon.

3. Must-Visit

University of Notre Dame Grotto. The Grotto is one of those places that brings me peace and contentment and is filled with love and warmth for me. My college roommate and I used to run the lakes when we were students at Notre Dame and then end or runs at the Grotto for a little reflection and prayer or maybe to light a candle for someone or some intention of ours. It truly is one of the most magical, beautiful and love-filled places I’ve ever been. I hope everyone finds a place like this for themselves, wherever it might be!

4. Must-Eat

Noosa Pumpkin Yogurt. It’s officially October and that means pumpkin season! Pumpkin everything has been a long time favorite of mine since I was a little girl! I couldn’t wait for October and November when my mom made my favorite pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread! Yum! A few years ago I discovered another pumpkin favorite, Noosa Pumpkin Yogurt. It was initially a Target exclusive but I’ve recently found it at Whole Foods and Walmart as well! It’s like pumpkin pie for breakfast!

5. Must-Listen

RISE Together PodcastLiving your best life includes living your best life in all areas – work, motherhood, friend, daughter and wife. I admit that I resisted podcasts for a long time. “I’m so not a video person” or “I’d rather read it” I’d say. Recently though, my company moved offices and after getting married last spring, I moved further away from my boys’ school. All that change means I now have anywhere between 2.5 to 4 hours in the car each day depending on the week. Frankly in order to not go insane and to feel like I’m being somewhat productive with that time, I started searching for podcasts. One I really love is the RISE Together podcast which offers insight and conversations on life as parents and a couple. Some of my favorite titles include, How to Plan Out Your Life as a Couple, 5 Ways to Show Up for Your Spouse, Rachel’s Side and How to Show Up for Your Spouse, Dave’s Side.
