It seems like everyone is talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starting today but is it worth all the hype?
I tend to be more of the Amazon Prime, Target and Old Navy kind of shopper but I admittedly love anything I’ve every bought from Nordstrom. Everything there just feels a bit more luxurious so I decided to find a few budget-friendly, mom life approved deals from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Here are a few of my favorite “treat yourself” deals this week. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items sell out fast, so if it’s on your “absolutely yes” or “maybe” list, I’d recommend buying it now and then taking advantage of Nordstrom’s generous return policy if it doesn’t work.
These jeans have the perfect mix of stretch and polish! I love the fit and style of this brand as much as I love Blank NYC, except these are about $30+ less which is a definite win in my book. Also available in white and without distressing.
I love the scallop edges and detailing of this bralette. It admittedly works better for those with an A or B cup. It’s so cute layered under basic tanks and tees on the weekend and with cute lace detailing, it adds a bit of interest peeking out a bit from a V-neck or scoopneck tee or tank. If you’re a little more “blessed in the chest” so to speak, I highlight recommend this alternative from American Eagle. I have it in 3 colors!
I have this tunic in teal green and absolutely love it! It’s perfect to pair with black skinny pants and a pendant necklace for the office or distressed skinny jeans and boots on the weekend. I can totally see the cute Free People bralette on this list layered underneath as well. I have pink, arona green and black sitting in my bag right now!
For busy moms, it’s all about putting together easy outfits in a flash! I love this dress by the same maker as my favorite tunic. The breezy shift style dress feels perfect for hot summer months and easy to pair with platform wedges this summer but versatile enough to layer a blazer, denim jacket, or scarf over it in the fall and swap my wedges for cognac boots. I’m leaning toward the black or the rust marsala to take me from summer to fall but the hydro teal color is calling my name too!
It may be a bit early to start thinking about fall, but the cut and versatility of this ribbed shawl cocoon sweater has me curious. I can definitely see layering this over work tops for the office then cozying up on the weekend layering it over a tee paired with distressed jeans and boots! The tan ethera heather and brown spice are in my shopping bag as we speak!
I’ve had a taupe colored leather jacket on my “to buy” list since last season and this toffee-colored faux leather jacket looks so luxurious and easy to layer over tees and work tops for the fall. At under $100, I think I might be taking this amped up wardrobe staple home with me and patiently waiting for cooler weather! I mean anything with toffee in the name has to be a win, right?
So what deals did you score during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
