I’m just going to say it: Valentine’s Day is stupid. I hate the idea of dedicating an entire day to forced romanticism and gift-giving. And why can’t Conversation Hearts just go away forever?!
That being said, I do really like the bags of cherry-flavored Tootsie Roll pops (I mean, do we even need the other flavors?). And the chocolate sales on February 15. I also really enjoy surprising my daughter with little Valentine’s Day treats. So, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day-inspired gifts for your little ones – all under $20!
Piggy Paints Nail Polish
Created by a mom, these all-natural, non-flammable nail polishes come in fun colors and gift sets, like this one for only $14.99.
Mermaid Tail Blanket
This adorable crocheted mermaid tail blanket is perfect for snuggling up with your little one – and it’s only $15!
Bluetooth Karaoke Microphone
At just $17.49, this microphone-speaker combo syncs with your bluetooth-enabled devices to play your kids’ favorite karaoke tunes as they sing-along. It’s perfect for rainy days, snow days, parties or for distracting a cranky toddler.
Bowscription Box
My daughter wears a bow every. single. day. Bargain Bows is my go-to online retailer for quality, affordable bows, and their Bowscription Box is probably the best deal they offer. It’s only $14/month, and there are at least 5-6 boutique-quality bows or headbands in every box.
Love from The Very Hungry Caterpillar
This sweet book is the perfect lovey-dovey bedtime story for even the youngest valentine on your list. Bonus: it’s only $8.99 on Amazon!
