This post definitely gets filed under “things we never thought we’d buy” online before the pandemic. With self-isolation and shelter in place restrictions lifting, the CDC recommends wearing face masks in public. The CDC also gives a few guidelines for wearing face masks and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) properly.
So what do you do if you can’t sew and you don’t want to buy up medical grade masks needed for front line workers? Several well known retail brands have started offering non medical grade masks for sale on their websites.
We’ve noticed that some of these go in and out of stock quickly due to demand but each website promises that they are replenishing stock quickly. We also expect that as this new normal continues that more and more retailers will hop on board. Here are a few options we’ve found so far:
