While I’m a big proponent of using this time to skip the makeup and focus on a great skincare routine (stay tuned), today I’m sharing a simple “no makeup” makeup look for those mornings you just have to be on video for your meetings. The good news? Not only is this routine super simple, 4-steps that can be done in less than 5 minutes, but the products are actually good for your skin too!
The secret to this wonder product is that it not only provides a healthy tint of color to even out skin tone and SPF for sun protection, but it’s also mattifying (eliminating the shine). Skin looks flawless and you honestly feel like you’re not wearing any makeup at all! Oil-free (bye bye breakouts), cruelty free and vegan…what’s not to love?!
Of all the natural makeup brands I’ve tried (and I’ve tried many), Mineral Fusion consistently hits the mark. I love this two-in-one product because it gives me the pop of color I love on my cheeks (nothing helps make you look more awake and refreshed, trust me on this one!), while the built-in bronzer gives me a little more life for mornings when I’m just not quite there yet (or haven’t seen the sun in days).
I loooove this mascara! Natural mascara can be tricky, but this one feels (and smells) so luxurious. Natural or not, this is my ultimate fave. It truly feels as indulgent as Chanel, but only uses mineral pigments and contains nourishing ingredients like quince seed, silk and candelilla wax to coat and protect your lashes without chemicals. Bonus: it smells like roses.
I’m one of those women who can’t stand not to have a hint of color and moisture on her lips at all times. If I want a little more color than my Rosebud salve when going all natural, this is my go to choice. It provides heavy duty moisture from castor oil, beeswax and lanolin without being goopy (my biggest pet peeve when it comes to gloss). The cherry not only smells great, but gives you the perfect “natural” lip color – sweetly fresh and berry kissed!
